The Gavinski’s have also discovered the “Trick” to the Sponsorship “Treat” by negotiating lucrative sponsorships with major Brands such as, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Apple Bee’s.

Bill Criscione, Lake Erie Fear Fest & Ghostly Manor

What began as an indoor F.E.C. and skating rink, has quickly grown into one of the Country’s largest Halloween Theme Parks (a Forbes Top 10 business). Operating 360 days a year, Bill and his team are making 80,000 plus visitors scream each year. Safety and Education for the Industry has always been Top of Mind for Bill. He proves every day, that you can be safe and scary.

Scott Simmons, The Scarehouse

Co-Owner and Creative Director of The ScareHouse, Scott is constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to cutting edge entertainment. ScareHouse has grown into a truly world class event, and has developed a creative partnership with iconic film writer/directors Mike Dougherty (Trick ‘r’ Treat), Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim, Hellboy) and Legendary Entertainment (The Dark Knight series, Inception, Godzilla, and many more.)

Ben Armstrong, Netherworld

Netherworld Haunted House is beyond a doubt, the Haunted House gold standard that all other events are measured against. Ben and his partner Billy delve deep into the psyche of his customers and year after year tirelessly transforms Netherworld into America’s Number 1 Halloween destination. Ben and the staff at Netherworld have set the mark on “how to be successful” in the Halloween Industry.

Dwayne Sanburn, 13th Gate

When it comes to detailing in a haunted attraction, Dwayne and the 13th Gate Haunted House have that in spades. The realistic set design in the 13th Gate is evidence that his event is without question the one haunted house that leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit of perfection. The 13th Gates breath taking scenes are the envy of haunted house owners worldwide.

Tim Dunne, Fright Kingdom

Tim and his staff take the art of the scare to a whole different level with fantastic sets and the use of live animals inside the haunt that customers find so unsettling. Thinking “Out Side” the box is a normal day in Tim’s life. Fright Kingdom’s unique style and approach to the Scare is just one of the many reasons it was selected to be a participant in the 2014 Trans Worlds Legendary Haunt Tour.

Randy Bates, Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride & Pennhurst Asylum

Randy has wrote the book of “How To” when it comes to a “World Class Hayride”. Year after year, striving for perfection. The timing sequence, used to move massive crowds throughout his event, is in itself an art form and something everyone should want to emulate. His innovation and forward thinking have led many to the use of ATM’s and Rain Insurance at their events. What Randy does today is an industry standard tomorrow.

John Eslish, The Factory of Terror

Located in what many consider the Mecca of Haunted Attractions (Ohio) John and his staff are constantly in search of ways to make the Factory of Terror “Bigger, Better and more Terrifying” year after year. Named the Largest Walk through Haunted Attraction in the WORLD by the Guinness Book of Records is just one example of how the Factory of Terror sets itself apart from competing events in their market.

Shane Dabbs, Disturbia

Shane Dabbs is well known for building elaborate Haunted Houses and his no nonsense approach to business. An advocate for the Industry, Shane loves Haunters, Haunting and everything to do with the Season of Screams.  For the past 6 years he has also hosted the famous “Insane Shane” party at Transworld that has become  a must attend industry event!
